教学要求:

1.能听懂、会说、会读单词housework, at home, ring, sweep, floor, wash, clothes.

2.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What are you doing? I’m /We’re…What is he /she doing? He’s /She’s…

3.能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语和句型Are you free now? How about…?

4. 掌握用英语打电话时的常用语,培养学生的文明礼仪;通过谈论家务劳动,进一步培养学生热爱劳动的习惯。

5.通过做、说、演等活动,提高学生学习英语的兴趣和综合运用语言的能力。

教学重、难点:能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What are you doing? I’m /We’re…What is he /she doing? He’s /She’s…

教学用具:教学挂图、单词卡片、录音机

教学过程:

Step 1. Revision

1.       T: The bell is ringing. (Show the picture, teach the words of “ring”, ringing”.)

2.     Greetings between T and Ss.

3.       Free talks between T and Ss individually:

eg: What’s your name?/ My name is…/Nice to meet you,…

I can…What can you do? / I can…

I like swimming, how about you? /I like…

Do you like…? / Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. I like…etc.

Step 2. Presentation

1.       Learn the phrases of “doing housework”.

(1) T: This class we’ll study Unit 6: Doing housework.

(2) T: What housework can you do?(鼓励学生用英语或汉语表达)

S1: I can… (生自由表达,根据学生回答随机教学关于家务劳动的新词汇:wash clothes, sweep the floor, clean the windows. )

(3) T: Do you like doing housework? Ss: Yes,…/No,…

T: What else do you like?

S1: I like…

2. Learn “What are you doing? / I’m….”

(1)T: I like jumping. Look, I’m jumping.(Show the new sentence and teach the Ss to read it.)

(2)请学生边做动作边用英语介绍:I’m…

(3) Ask and answer between T and Ss:

T: What are you doing?

S1: I’m…

S2: What are you doing?

T: I’m….

T: What are you doing?

Ss: We’re…etc.

(4) Practice in pairs, then check some pairs.

A: What are you doing?

B: I’m…

(5) 检查过程中根据同桌间的问答随机问其他同学: What is she / he doing? 引导回答: She / He is ….

(6) Look at the pictures and answer the questions quickly: What is he / she doing? He / She is ….

3. Learn to make a call in English.

(1) T makes a call in English as the model.

(2) Learn the two new sentences:

(a) Is that… (b) This is …speaking.

(3) Try to make some calls in English with partners.

Step 3. Listen and say

1. Look at the picture of Part 1.

T: Look, who are they?

Ss: They are Su Hai and Su Yang.

2. T: It is Sunday morning. I’m free on Sunday morning. I can … I can …But I’m not free now. I’m having an English class now. Are you free now? What are you doing?

3. T: What are Su Hai and Su Yang doing?(Listen to the tape, then answer this question.)

4. Listen to the tape and answer the questions: Who calls them? What is Su Hai doing? How about Su Yang?

5. Read after the tape.

Step 4. Drill

1. T offers some topics, asks the Ss to choose one topic and make out the dialogue.

2. Summary for this class.
