Unit 3 What’s your job? (Period 1)

一、教学目标:

1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词 a farmer, a worker, a waiter, a waitress, a cook.

2.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写句型How old are you / is he / she? I’m / He’s / She’s….

   What’s your / his / her job? I’m / He’s / She’s a …. 并能结合单词灵活运用。

3.通过多种活动形式,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生良好的英语学习习惯和英语会话能力。

二、教学重点:

1.能四会掌握单词farmer, worker, waiter, waitress, cook.

2.能四会掌握句型How old are you / is he / she? I’m / He’s / She’s…. What’s your / his / her job? I’m / He’s / She’s a …. 并能结合单词灵活运用。

三、教学难点:

1 物主代词与人称代词的正确区分与运用。

2.句型能结合单词灵活的灵活运用。

四、教学用具:CAI 头饰 调查表

五、教学过程:

Step 1 Sing an English song: Who’s that girl?

Step 2 Revision

1 Greetings

2 Freetalk

 Hello, I’m Ben. I’m new here. What’s your name? Nice to meet you. How are you?

Who’s that boy/girl/man/woman?

3 Play a game: Who’s my friend?

Teacher make a model.

Students play the game. (最后一学生猜自己)

Step 3 Presentation

1 Teach: How old are you? I’m ….

 (1) The way: 接上步。Look, this is my information. What do you want to know ? Ask me.

(3) Drill: How old are you? I’m….

 (5) Students practice in pairs.

 (6) Check.

 (7) 扩展:考考学生的记忆力。T: How old is she / he?  S: She’s / He’s ….

2 Teach: What’s your job? I’m a….

 (1) The way: 同法,资料卡引出。

    S: What’s your job?

    T: I’m a teacher.

(2) Drill: job  What’s your job?

 (3) Chant: Job, job, what’s your job? Teacher, teacher, I’m a teacher.

(4) Students make a new one.

 3 Teach: worker

 (1) The way: (资料卡)T: Do you know my father’s job? Ask him.

                   S: Excuse me. What’s your job?

               (CAI): I’m a worker.

 (2) Drill: worker

 (3) Chant: Worker, worker, I’m a worker. Worker, worker, He’s a worker.

4 Teach: farmer

 (1) The way: But what’s my mother’s job? Ask her, too.

                   S: Excuse me, What’s your job?

               (CAI): I’m a farmer.

(2) Drill: farmer

 (3) Chant: Farmer, farmer, I’m a farmer. Farmer, farmer, he’s a farmer.

(4) Ask and answer: T: I’m a farmer. What’s your job?

                 S1: I’m a …. What’s your job?

                 S2: I’m a…(连锁反应)

 5 Teach: What’s his / her job? He’s / She’s a ….

 (1) The way: 接上步,检查学生记忆力。T: Tell me. What’s his job?

                                    S: He’s a ….

                                    T: What’s her job?

                                    S: She’s a ….

 (2) Drill the sentence.

 (3) Practice: CAI提供多图,让学生俩俩操练。

 (4) Check.

6 Teach: waiter waitress

 (1) The way: CAI呈现男服务员半图。T: Look. What’s his job? Do you know?

                                  S: He’s a waiter.

 (2) Drill: waiter.

 (3) Ask and answer: 让一男生拿一托盘

        Boys: What’s his job?

        Girls: He’s a waiter.

 (4) 同法教waitress(让一女生拿一托盘)

7 Play a game: Look and guess (看皮影,猜职业)

Step 3 Drill

1 CAI presents the wall picture. Students answer the questions.

Who’s this robot? What’s his name? How old is he? What’s his job? S: ….

2 Books open. Read after the tape.

Step 4 Practice

1创设情景,20年后四(3)办同学再次相聚在一起,大家相互谈论对方的年龄与职业等。

2学生有感情的示范表演。

3 Just like this, make a new dialogue.

4 Check.

Step 5 Consolidation

1 总结。单词:farmer, worker, waiter, waitress, cook.

        句型:How old are you / is he / she? I’m / He’s / She’s….

              What’s your / his / her job? I’m / He’s / She’s a ….

2 Assign homework.
