Teaching Plan

课题:Unit 9 What’s the matter?

教学目标:

1、四会掌握单词“cold, hot, hungry, thirsty, tired, ill”,四会掌握日常交际用语“What’s the matter? I’m … Here’s a/some….for you”。

2、创设情景,激活学生的各种感官,为学生提供真实的体验,调动兴趣,强化记忆。

3、通过韵文,培养学生良好的语感。

重点难点:目标1

教具学具:多媒体课件,食品,饮料

教学过程:

Step 1 Leading in

1.(1)T: Good morning , everyone. My name is Cai Xuefei . In English “xue” means snow. I like snow very much Do you like it?

(2) T: Who is she? ( Snow White) I like her. Do you like her? Today ,let’s have a match. Look, snow white is waiting for you at the end.

Step 2 Pre—task

1.Teach “cold”

(1) We all like snow very much. It is white and beautiful. Now let’s watch a video of snow.

(2) 课件,伴寒风呼啸声。

TOh, I’m cold . Are you cold?

S: Yes, I’m cold.

(3) Read the word “cold” after the teacher.

(4) Chant :

Cold , cold , I’m cold.

Cold , cold, you’re cold.

Cold, cold , he’s cold.

Cold, cold , she’s cold.

2. Teach “hot”

(1) T: We are cold. Shall we do some exercises?

(2) 课件--兔子舞音乐 动作:Jump, run, get up, go to school…

(3) T: I’m not cold now. Are you cold? I’m a little hot.

  Read “hot” after the teacher.

(4) Chant.

Hot, hot, I’m hot.

Hot, hot, are you hot?

Yes, yes, I’m hot.

3. Teach “tired”

(1) T: Let’s continue.  OK. ( Get some students come to the front.)

(2) Follow me. (下蹲运动)

(3) T: What’s the matter?

   S:(Help the students) I’m tired.

   T: Here’s a chair for you.

(4) Chant:

Matter, matter, what’s the matter?

Tired, tired, I’m tired.

4. Teach “ hungry, thirsty, ill”

(1) T: What’s the time? ( 12:00)

     It’s time to have lunch. I’m hungry and thirsty.

(2) Teach “hungry, thirsty”.

(3) T: If you are hungry and thirsty. Please make a chant for me. Here’s some food and drink for you.

   S1: Matter, matter, what’s the matter?

   S2: Hungry , hungry, I’m hungry./ Thirsty, thirsty, I’m thirsty.

   T: Here’s a/some….for you.

(4) T: It’s my turn now.

(5) Eat too much—ill ----Go to the hospital.

         Step 3 While—task

1.      Talk about the pictures in Part C.

2.      (Part A Picture 1 and 2)

(1)   Listen to the CAI, then answer the questions.

What’s the matter with Liu Tao?

(2)   Read after it.

(3)   Read in roles.

(4)   Check up.

       Step 4 Post –task

1.      Model.

2.      Make out some new dialogues into pairs, then act.
